Clean Indie Reads Fall Sale

I'm very happy to be participating in the Clean Indie Reads Blog Hop.

Clean Indie Reads, the home of flinch-free fiction, is having a sale October 5th – 11th

Here’s the link to the list of Clean Indie Reads books on sale.

This week all the participating bloggers are answering the same question. Then we’re saying a little bit about our books.

The question…

Do the changing seasons influence your writing and/or choice of books to read?
I don’t know how much the seasons change my writing. I live in South Florida so the seasons don’t really change. (It’s basically hot & humid, hotter & more humid and a few blessed months of not as hot & humid.) My reading habits change a little, but that’s mostly because of the book selection. There is a big influx of summer reads and then Christmas reads. You can’t get away from them, and I do enjoy them so it’s not a hardship.

Speaking of Christmas books, my latest release is a holiday romance. It’s part of a holiday box set, SWEET CHRISTMAS KISSES, 14 holiday romances on sale for only 99 cents.  Yep...14 books…99 cents.

The best news…the set hit the USA Today Best Seller list its first week out at #51!!!!

This holiday season, warm your heart with 14 Sweet Christmas Kisses, a bundle of PG-rated romance novels and novellas from USA Today, national bestselling, and award-winning authors. Sweet Christmas Kisses takes you from small-town USA to England, Scotland, and even Ecuador; from the beach to snow-capped mountains, and to the wild—sometimes magical—west.

My contribution is BY CHRISTMAS, Book 4 of my Covington Falls Chronicles series. Here’s a short blurb

Jilted bride, Noelle Robinson, had planned to leave town and skip the holidays. A family crisis changes everything, and now she’s out to save the family business and Christmas for Covington Falls. Soon she’s dealing with parades, a cantankerous ass (the animal kind) and negotiating disputes with
Santa’s elves. But it’s Michael Campbell, the brother of the man who shattered her dreams, who is threatening to disrupt her peace on earth…and claim her heart.

Christmas In July Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the Christmas In July Blog Hop. I just saw a commercial on The Hallmark Channel promoting Countdown To Christmas, a time devoted to nothing but Christmas movies. It starts October 31st. I guess they’re skipping Thanksgiving. Now while I do cringe at the start of the holiday season starting earlier and earlier every year, I do admit I love the Christmas movies. I watch so many that I can usually snuff out the “surprise” twist after a few minutes. It’s my superpower apparently.

I’ve actually been stuck in holiday mode since December because I just finished a Christmas-themed novel, the fourth in my Covington Falls Chronicles series. In the first book (MARRY ME) my heroine takes over a wedding planning business and one of the weddings ends with the groom taking off BEFORE the ceremony…with a bridesmaid. Now the jilted Bride (Noelle Robinson) is getting her much-deserved romance. That book should be out this fall just in time for – you guessed it – Christmas.

Since this is a Christmas in July Blog Hop and we’re supposed to giveaway a Christmas themed book I searched through my own personal library and found FOUR! So enter here and you will be eligible to win them.

I'm A Reader Not A Writer - Kindle Fire Giveaway Hop

I'm participating in my first blog hop and it's a good one. A couple lucky folks could win a Kindle. If you're visiting as part of the contest thanks for stopping by!

I am a WRITER and a READER. My debut novel MARRY ME was published in October by Astraea Press. It's a fun romantic comedy set in the fictional Southern town of Covington Falls. Julia Richardson is the world's most reluctant wedding planner. She's vowed never to fall in love after watching her parents treat marriage like the flavor of the month. Seth Graham is the sexy widowed minister who is testing that vow against love and marriage. He's a guy just emerging from the grief of losing his beloved wife, and Julia is as different from his Beth as the sun is from the moon. The two can't seem to stay away from each other or ignore their attraction, however. Check it out and I know you'll fall in love with Julia, Seth and Covington Falls. If you like MARRY ME, look for Book 2 in the series, ACTING UP, which debuts April 22nd and Book 3, IMAGINE THAT, on July 1st.
