25 Days of Christmas Movies - Day 21 - Mickey's Christmas Carol
It’s Day 21 of 25 Days of Christmas Movies, and we are SO CLOSE to
the BIG DAY. Is it cheating to pick another adaptation of A Christmas Carol?
Well, I don’t care because I love Mickey’s Christmas Carol (1983)!
Disney took
basically every character it ever created and put them together in this really great rendition of Charles Dickens' classic story.
Mickey Mouse is Bob Cratchit, Goofy is Jacob Marley, Jiminy Cricket becomes the Ghost
of Christmas Past while the Giant (Jack and the Beanstalk) is the Ghost of
Christmas Present. Daisy Duck stands in for Ebenezer’s young love, Belle and Donald Duck is Nephew Fred. So cute and they tell the story in about 30 minutes. What’s not to love about that?

25 Days of Christmas Movies - Day 8 - A Christmas Carol
For Day 8 of 25 Days of Christmas it's the most classic of classic Christmas movies.
It’s just not Christmas time unless you’ve watched twenty
different version of A Christmas Carol. Charles Dickens’ classic tale of mean
ole’ miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who learns to not be so mean after visits from three
spirits on Christmas Eve: The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present & Future. It’s a story that never really gets old
because there always seem to be people who need to learn the lesson. There are
so many versions that it’s hard to say which is a favorite. I might have to go
with the 1951 black and white version starring Alistair Sim.

And if Tiny Tim doesn’t break your heart…well…you don’t have
one.
Let’s all say it together
“God Bless us…everyone.”
